Pliant Hires New Marketing Leader

Pliant, whose low-code platform for Process Automation simplifies how operations and engineering organizations build and deploy automation, today announces that Chris Rohter has joined as Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Rohter will oversee all aspects of demand and awareness while leading strategic marketing initiatives aligned to the company’s goals. He brings over two decades of experience in marketing, alliances, and product strategy to accelerate a new phase of rapid growth for Pliant.

Rohter joins Pliant from Turbonomic, which acquired SevOne, a leading player in the performance monitoring space. During his tenure at SevOne and Turbonomic, he managed marketing, strategic alliances, and emerging product go-to-market. Previously, Rohter held multiple marketing positions at Akamai Technologies, AppNeta, and EMC.
