Job Description:
Looking to get into tech sales? Pliant is seeking the next generation of sales superstars for our business development program. You will hone your skills as a business development representative uncovering opportunities with prospects and customers. We will enable and develop your skills across technical selling, demand generation, sales operations, and of course technical acumen.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new prospects, predominantly over the phone, via email, and other communication tools
- Serve as the first line of contact for new business leads
- Build relationships with new prospects
- Coordinate product demonstrations with our technical team for qualified leads
- Deliver a Wow customer experience, always
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate them to the leadership team
- Maintain and develop a deep understanding of our products, solutions, and opportunities
- Assist with tradeshow preparation, webinars, and any other initiatives spearheaded by sales
Requirements:
- A college degree in business, marketing, communications, phycology or a related field
- Experience with cold calling
- Experience with CRM and prospecting tools
- Experience selling to business/enterprise customers
- Possess confidence on the phone and good written skills
- Exemplify proactive and self-starter attitude
- Show a strong interest in technology and sales
